Pauline (Hayes) Lawson
GARLAND – Pauline Lawson, 87, passed away on November 26, 2013 after a short stay at the Dexter Health Care facility. She was formally from White Haven, PA.

She was born in Meadow Run, PA on September 8, 1926, a daughter of Lloyd and Violet (Michael) Hayes. She graduated from White Haven High School and received a Bachelor’s Degree from Dickinson College, Carlisle, PA. She later received a Master’s Degree from Wilkes College, Wilkes-Barre, PA. Pauline was a retired elementary school teacher from the Hazleton School District, Hazleton, PA. She was a member of the White Haven United Methodist Church and the Dexter United Methodist Church. She was a very active member of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by three children; James Lawson, of White Haven, PA, Danette McNelis, of Great Meadows, NJ, and Sanders Lawson, of Garland. She also is survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, John Lawson and son, Richard Lawson.

Graveside committal services will held in the spring at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Dexter. Those who wish may leave written condolences at www.CrosbyNeal.com
