GREENVILLE AND SCARBOROUGH- Pauline "Polly" Douglass, 87, died November 23, 2012, at C.A. Dean Hospital in Greenville. She was born January 2, 1925, in Calais, ME a daughter of Miles and Josephine (Curran) Frye.

Polly was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, painting, photography, travelling and spending time with family at camp on Sebago Lake.

She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Neil R. Douglass; and daughter, Donna (Douglass) Jucius; brothers, Miles P. Frye and Edward G. Frye.

She is survived by a son, Stephen and his wife, Jan of Greenville; a brother, Don Frye and his wife, Elaine of Albemarle, NC; brother-in-law Leonard Douglass of Scarborough, son-in-law Charles Jucius, Jr. of Windsor; three grandchildren, Matthew Jucius and his wife, Annabella of Acton, MA, Tavia Douglass and her fiancé, Mark Stuart of Wilmington, NC, and Eric Douglass of Scarborough; great grandchildren, Neil and Ryan Jucius; and many nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank Cindy, Denise, Doris, Peggy and Shelley for their exceptional care through the years. We would also like to thank the staff at C.A. Dean Hospital for Polly’s wonderful care during her final days.

Friends and family are invited to stop by on Thursday, November 29th between 6pm and 8pm at the family home on 261 Pine Point Road, Scarborough.

Memorial services will be held Friday, November 30th at 11am at the Blue Point Congregational Church in Scarborough. Burial will be in the Blue Point Cemetery following the service.
