OBITUARIES

PHILLIP E. WORTHEN
CORINNA- Phillip E. Worthen, 91, died May 20, 2008, at Mayo Regional Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft. He was born June 22, 1916, in Corinna, son of Millard and Dora (Blaisdell) Worthen. For over 25 years Phil raised chickens in Corinna and later worked as a night Watchman for Dexter Shoe until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife, Debra (Hunter) Worthen of Corinna; 2 sons, John Worthen of Corinna, and Heath Worthen of Parkman; a daughter, Diane Crocker and her husband, Robert of Bangor; many grandchildren, and great grandchildren; a sister, Muriel Malone of Corinna; many nieces and nephews; a special friend, Benjamin Perkins of Dexter.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at Crosby & Neal, 61 Main St., Dexter. Graveside services will be held Thursday at 3 PM at the Morses Corner Cemetery in Corinna.
