PHYLLIS CHRISTINE GRAY
SANGERVILLE- Phyllis Christine Gray, 77, went to be with the Lord on April 20, 2009. She was born on September 7, 1931 in Abbot, daughter of Perley and Edna (Billington) Daggett. She worked at Guilford of Maine for 24 years and other mills in the area; she was also a cook at the Sangerville School. She loved working in her gardens and berry picking.

She was survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Earl Gray of Sangerville; a sister, Mildred Fitch of Framingham, MA; a daughter, Wendy Rolfe and partner, Trudy Gerry of Detroit; her son, Philip Gray and wife, Ethel of Surry; son-in-law, Harold Rolfe of Sangerville; her grandchildren, Chris Rolfe and partner, Sue-Ann Murdoch of Guilford , Judy Marchant and husband, William of Campton, NH; Angela Morse and husband, Louis of Gouldsboro; Vanessa Rolfe of Sangerville; seven great grandchildren; four step great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Earlene Gray.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM Thursday, April 23, 2009 at Crosby & Neal, 21 Oak Street, in Guilford. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 2 PM Friday, with Pastor Stephen Dean officiating. Burial will be in the Village Cemetery in Sangerville. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association, 170 U.S. Route 1; Suite 250, Falmouth, Maine 04105.
