OBITUARIES

PHYLLIS M. RUKSZNIS
MONSON- Phyllis M. Ruksznis, 90, died April 29, 2008, at C.A. Dean Hospital in Greenville. She was born March 21, 1918, in E. Dover, daughter of Walter and Nellie (Eddy) Drinkwater. During WWII she worked as a medical records clerk at Bath Iron Works. She was an avid baker and operated a catering and baking business out of her home. She loved people and people loved her. She was very proud of her Irish heritage. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends at the Maine coast, at her camp on Lake Hebron, and later at Wilson Pond. She was a faithful member of the Monson Community Church and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

She leaves behind loving daughters and their husbands, Anne and Bart Stover of Maxfield, Lorna and Greg Young of Shirley, and Maralee and Warren Smith of Monson; grandchildren, Kristie and Doug Boisvert of NH, Ryan Young and Jessica Disbrow of CO, Jeremy and Annie Stover of Old Town, Amanda and Chris Snapp of CO, Justin Stover of MI, Heidi Storm and Todd Hanscom of Holden; great grandchildren, Kaleb Tarbert, Brenna Boisvert, Lauren Boisvert, Robyn Boisvert, Devon Rumby; many dear friends; 2 special friends, Bunny Knight and Evelyn Demmons. She was predeceased by her husband, John A. Ruksznis; and 3 brothers, Robert, Donald and Burton.

Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Saturday, May 3, 2008 at the Monson Community Church in Monson, with Pastor David Ray officiating. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery in Monson.
