RAYMOND J. FORTIN
DEXTER, ME AND NEW BEDFORD, MA- Raymond J. Fortin, 80, died July 31, 2010 at a Dexter nursing home. He was born February 26, 1930, in New Bedford, MA, son of Louis and Emma (Guillmette) Fortin. Raymond worked in construction for most of his life in coastal Massachusetts, and was a member of the Union Local #385 in Fair Haven, MA.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Larocque) Fortin of Dexter, ME; 6 children, Irene Williams of CA, Theresa Ashton of MA, Jean Fortin of AR, David Fortin of MA , Marie Martel of NH, and Louis Fortin of MA; a sister, Yvette Hebert of MA; 10 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren; 7 step-children; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Jeanne (Langlois) Fortin; a brother, Maurice Fortin; and a sister, Doris Fournier.
