OBITUARIES

RICHARD B. WOODALL
Richard Woodall WILLIMANTIC- Richard B. Woodall, 77, died August 6, 2010, in Belleville, NY, as a result of a boating accident. He was born November 18, 1932, in Cape Vincent, NY, son of Dewel and Sadie Woodall.

He attended school in Belleville, NY, and at the age of 17, Dick joined the US Air Force. A career service man, he served in both the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War, retiring in 1971, after 21 years. Following retirement, he and his wife Ellen moved to Willimantic. He was an active member of Mt. Kineo Masonic Lodge in Guilford, the Anah Temple Shrine in Bangor, and was a mini-biker for many years. Dick was also an active member of the Willimantic Community Church, the Fellowship of God Church in Ocala, FL, and the Conner-Trafton American Legion Post in Guilford.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Ellen (Van Amber) Woodall of Willimantic; a son, Lawrence Lewis of FL; 2 daughters, Mary Tomlin and her husband, Dale of GA, and Lisa Fellers and her husband, Gary of SC; 4 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held 1 PM, Friday, August 13, 2010, at Crosby & Neal, 21 Oak Street in Guilford, with the Rev. Lloyd Rozelle officiating.
