RICHARD F. 'SONNY' HARMON
MILO - Richard F. "Sonny" Harmon, 77, died peacefully July 12, 2005, at a Bangor hospital surrounded by his family. Richard was born May 18, 1928, in Milo, the only son of the late Richard E. and Marjory L. Harmon. Richard drove truck for L.P. Valente and worked for 40 years at the B & A Railroad. He was active in the former Jaycees of Milo, Boys and Girls Scouts, the ambulance service and Civil Defense. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to travel. He will be remembered as a very loving family man and friend. Richard was predeceased by his son, "Buster" Harmon.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Geraldine "Jeri" (Drinkwater) Harmon; his children, Diane and Tony Osgood of Milo, Sherry Weston of Milo, Linda Murray and Terry Howard of Tennessee, Robert "Bob" and Dawn Harmon of Milo; his grandchildren, Bryan and Kristy Osgood, Eric Osgood, Mike and Steven Weston, Jennifer and Jamie Cail, Felicia Mitchell, and Kayla Harmon; his great-grandchildren, Theresa, Linsley, Maxwell, Chelsea, Jada and Kenny; his mother-in-law, Lois Palmer; brother-in-law, John and Sheryl Drinkwater; sister-in-law, Linda and Neil Trask. Many nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be fondly remembered by lifelong friends, Louis Valente, Lewis Marks, and Willie Burke.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Donations can be made to Milo Fire Department and Three Rivers Ambulance Service.
