Rita B. Potter
DEXTER- Rita B. Potter, 84, died April 6, 2013, at Mayo Regional Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft. She was born in Boston, MA, September 16, 1928, the daughter of Luther and Laura (Dumas) Bower.

She is survived by a stepson, David and his wife, Georgia Potter of TX; 2 stepdaughters, Genie Mott of LA, and Deborah and her husband, Carey Subblett of TX, 3 step-grandchildren, Jimmie Immel, David Potter Jr., and Myron Potter; 4 sisters, Laura Laurent and her husband, Marcel of Corinna, Norma Schiling and her husband, Gary of OR, Barbara Weaver and her husband, Ronald of Owls Head, and Betty Maddocks of MS; a brother, Robert Bower and his wife, Gail of FL; nieces and nephews, including a nephew, Ronald Storer who was her caregiver.

She was predeceased by a sister, Jeanne Perkins.

Friends may call Tuesday, April 9, 2013, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Plain Christian Fellowship Meeting House, 152 Amsden Road in Corinna. Funeral services will be held 10 AM, Wednesday, April 10th, at the Meeting House with Paul S. Nolt officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. With the intention of keeping the service simple, the family has requested no flowers.
