OBITUARIES

ROBERT A. STORER
CORINNA & St. ALBANS- Robert A. Storer, 73, went home to be with the Lord, on November 24, 2000. He was born in Yarmouth December 5, 1926, the son of Ernest and Arlene Storer. A veteran of World War II, he served 4 years in the United States Navy and 26 years in the United States Postal Service, working both in Florida and New Hampshire. He also worked in home construction in Florida, New Hampshire, And Maine. He loved sports, hunting, snowmobiling, sailing, boating, and was still waterskiing at age 71. Bob had a great zest for life, with a wonderful sense of humor and the ability to add sunshine to each life he touched. He was an avid member of the First Baptist Church in Hartland.

He leaves behind his wife of 21 years, Faye H. Storer, and 2 step-children, Dennis Bailey of West Sumner, and Karen Barnhart of Ticonderoga, NY. He was formerly married to Eleanor (Kezer) Storer, until her homegoing on October 30, 1978. He leaves behind 5 children from their marriage, John of Nashville, TN, Douglas of Hampton Beach, NH, Kathi Connolly of Gorham, Karin Bushaw of Standish, and Philip of Melbourne, FL. He also leaves a brother, Carlton Storer of Yarmouth; 15 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 6- 8 P.M. Monday, November 27th at Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 64 Main Street, Newport. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, November 28th, at the First Baptist Church of Hartland with the Rev. Norman Finnemore officiating. A graveside committal service will be held 2:30 P.M. Tuesday at Bristol Mills Cemetery in in Bristol. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 52 Federal Street, Brunswick, ME 04011.
