ROBERT M. HOWLAND
STETSON – Robert Michael Howland, 68, died unexpectedly January 13, 2009. He was born June 6, 1940 in Springfield, MA, a son of Edgar and Melba (Gahan) Howland. He served in the U. S. Army and retired from TransCom Trucking Company, moving to Maine in 1995.

He is survived by his wife Bonnie of Stetson; 1 son, Mark and wife Tammie Howland of Detroit; 2 daughters, Susan and husband David Hanson of Marlborough, CT, Nancy and husband Baird Lashley of Millville, MA; a step-son, Daniel and wife Dutchie Mirolli of Elliston, VA; 2 step-daughters, Susan and husband Michael Clark of Roanoke, VA, and Karen Mirolli of Herndon, VA; a brother, Donald Howland of Stetson; 2 sisters, Patricia Hills of Westfield, MA and Lynda Hartmann of Santa Fe, TX; 8 grand daughters.

There will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 51 U.S. Route 1, Suite M, Scarborough, ME 04074.
