OBITUARIES

ROBERT W. FLORENCE
ORLAND - Robert W. Florence, 53, of 770 Castine Road, lost his life to a drunk driver Monday, March 5, 2007, in an accident that occurred just two miles away from his home. He was born and educated in Woburn, Mass., son of the late Russell and Claire (Moran) Florence. Bob worked as a lumberjack in the state of Maine with the Great Northern Paper Co. for most of his adult life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and nature, and cherished his family and friends. Bob was deeply loved and respected and will be sadly missed by all.

He is survived by two sisters, Ruthann "Randi" Connolly of Plaistow, N.H., and Janet Griffin of Londonderry, N.H.; three nephews, one niece and a great-nephew; two sons, Kirk Hamilton of Greenville and James Grant.

Relatives and friends may call 8:30-10:30 a.m. Friday at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Route 121A, Plaistow, N.H. A funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be Saturday in Plaistow Cemetery, Plaistow, N.H. A celebration of life service will be held in Rockwood in April at a time and date to be announced.
