ROBERT WARREN RONCO SR.
CORINTH, Robert Warren Ronco Sr., 78, died July 21, 2006, at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 29, 1928, in Sangerville, son of George and Ardelle (Wentworth) Ronco. He graduated from Sangerville High School, and received his Bachelors and Masters Degrees from the University of Maine at Orono. He served in the US Army during WWII. He taught school for over 30 years, finishing his career in education as Superintendent of Schools in Corinth. He later worked for the US Postal service for 15 years, retiring in 1993. He loved his family and was a kind-hearted man, always helping others.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lorraine (Clukey) Ronco of Corinth; a son, Robert Ronco Jr. and his wife, Brenda of Etna; 2 daughters, Dawn Gelo and her husband, Bruce of Kenduskeag, and Cindy Lyford and her husband, Thomas of Corinth; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Drew of Sangerville.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM Monday, July 24, 2006 at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 21 Oak Street in Guilford. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Church in Sangerville with the Rev. Fr. Paul Pare officiating. Burial will be in the Village Cemetery in Sangerville.
