RODNEY A. TIBBETTS
DOVER-FOXCROFT - Rodney A. Tibbetts, 59, husband of Jean L. (Hall) Tibbetts, died Aug. 24, 2008, at his home. He was born May 18, 1949, in Dover-Foxcroft, the son of Alden and Muriel (Hall) Tibbetts. Rodney had worked for many years at Moosehead Manufacturing, Dover-Foxcroft and Guilford Industries. He also volunteered at Piscataquis YMCA.

He is survived by his wife, Jean of Dover-Foxcroft; three sons, Alden and his wife, Amber, Peter and Frank, all of Dover-Foxcroft; a daughter, Mary Tibbetts of Bangor; a brother, Dale Tibbetts and his companion, Debbie Thibodeau, of Dover-Foxcroft; a sister, Joyce Smith of Sebec; three grandchildren, Joshua, Guinevere and Matthew; aunts and uncles, Bertha Mitchell of Hollywood, Fla., Donald and Beverly Church and Daniel and Joanne Hall, all of Dover-Foxcroft; several nieces, nephews and cousins; including special nephews, John and Paul Hall of Saco and Lee Hall of Monson.

A memorial service will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, at Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft, with the Rev. Dr. Dodie Sheffield officiating. Messages of condolence and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
