OBITUARIES

RODNEY E. "BUDDY" HUNTT JR.
RODNEY E. DEXTER, Rodney E. “Buddy” Huntt Jr., 57, has gone home to be with the Lord, August 3, 2006, in Dexter, following a long illness. He was born November 23, 1948, in Washington D.C., son of Rodney and Stella (Chapman) Huntt Sr. He served in the US Army for 10 years and later worked for Dexter Shoe Company in Dexter. Rodney was a member of the Disabled American Veteran’s Association, the American Legion, and of the First Free Baptist Church in Dexter.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Dawn (Taylor) Huntt of Dexter; 2 sons, Bernie Huntt, his wife Lynn, and 2 daughters, Morgan and Dylan, of Leonardtown, Maryland, and Joel Huntt of Portland; one daughter, Whitney Huntt of Orono, and Justin; a sister, Cecilia Kramer of Chester, Maryland; a brother, Steve Huntt of Orange Park, Florida; 2 stepsons, Donald Swain of Montgomery Village, Maryland, and Richard Swain of Davison, Michigan; 10 step grandchildren, and one great step grandson, Landon Swain of Sunnyvale, California; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 PM, Monday, August 7, 2006, at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 61 Main St., Dexter. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Tuesday, at the First Free Baptist Church in Dexter with Rev. William Walters officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Dexter.
