ROGER L. ROSS
DEXTER AND PALMYRA: Roger L. Ross 74 died unexpectedly Dec. 6, 2006 at his Dexter residence. He was born in Ft. Fairfield Jan 11, 1932 the son of Preston James and Violett (Bolduc) Ross. He was educated in schools of Waterville. Roger married Doris Waning in Fairfield on Sept. 29, 1950. He was employed as a carpenter and millwright working in Conn. and Waterville. Roger enjoyed building and flying radio controlled model airplanes. He was an avid ham radio operator for many years. He was a long time resident of Plamyra before moving to Dexter. For the past several years he has enjoyed working with his computer writing programs and establishing his own web site.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years Doris V. Ross of Dexter, one son and his wife James J. and Donna Ross of Dixmont, two daughters Linda J. Frautten of Dexter, Marjorie A. Gumbs and her husband James of Ledyard Conn., five grandchildren Todd, Angela, Jason, Jay, and Bill, six great grandchildren; Ellie, Kaleb, Jaymee, Sierra, L.J., and Kendall, two sisters Betty Fuller and Florence Vincenzi both of Waterbury Conn., several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, two sisters and a brother, Dorine, Patsy, and Ralph.

Private family memorial services will be conducted Friday at the Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Service Center 34 High St Newport.
