RONALD "ROBBLE" SANDS
CORINNA - Ronald "Robble" Sands, 57, died unexpectedly November 30, 2008. He was born January 14, 1951 in Bangor, the son of Ronald and Avis (Thompson) Sands, Sr. He served in the U. S. Army during two tours in Vietnam and was a disabled veteran. Robble was a self-employed carpenter in Connecticut and Maine. He loved NASCAR and auctions and enjoyed the people he met during those times. He also served as a foster parent and enjoyed helping teenagers.

He is survived by his wife Christine of Corinna; son, Kenneth and wife Susan Sands of Dexter; foster son, Bradley Theriault of Corinna; brother, Dwight and wife Joann Sands of CT; sister, Beverly and husband Tom Armsworthy of Madison; 3 grandchildren whom he adored, Gabby and Makenzie Sands and Johnny Theriault; a special cousin, "Mr. T" and wife Mary Thompson of Newport; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 3 children, Daniel, Eric, and Jamie Louise Sands in 1990; and a brother, Steven Sands.

Friends may call from 6-8 PM Thursday at Crosby & Neal Chapel, 68 Exeter Road, Corinna, where funeral services will be held 1 PM Friday, December 5th, with the Rev. Daniel Ellingwood officiating.
