RUTH E. GRIFFIN
CORINNA - Ruth Elizabeth Griffin, 99, died August 13, 2008 at a Pittsfield health care facility. She was born May 12, 1909 at Glassville, New Brunswick, Canada, a daughter of William and Agnes (Ball) Lindsay. She graduated from Corinna Union Academy and had been employed for many years at Eastland Woolen Mill retiring in 1975.

She is survived by a sister in law, Grace Lindsay of Pittsfield; and a special niece, Erlene Frost, also of Pittsfield; several other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, George Griffin; and two brothers, Donald and Earl Lindsay.

A graveside funeral and committal service will be held 2 PM Friday, August 15th, at Morses Corner Cemetery, Corinna. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal Chapel, 68 Exeter Road, Corinna. Those who wish may sign an on-line guest register at www.CrosbyNeal.com
