RUTH J. ENGSTROM
NEWPORT—Ruth J. Engstrom, 83, died January 4, 2006 at her residence. She was born June 21, 1922 at Hermon, a daughter of Clinton and Blanche (Anctill) Getchell. She was a graduate of Hermon High School.

Ruth is survived by 2 sons and their wives, Stanley and Jean Engstrom and Donald and Linda Engstrom, all of Newport; a daughter, Judith and her husband Raymond Eldridge of Stetson; 2 brothers, Roy Getchell of Brewer and Clayton Getchell of Brownville; 2 sisters, Grace Parks of Bangor and Rubie King of Hampden; 10 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 2 great great grand-daughters; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Archie, a son, Richard, and a grandson, LeRoy Engstrom.
