Ruth M. Condon
PALMYRA – Ruth M. Condon, 84, passed away peacefully April 13, 2013 with her family by her side at Hope House Hospice in Fort Myers, Florida. She was born September 11, 1928 in Dexter, a daughter of Theodore and Dorothy (Stackpole) McAllister.

She was educated in Palmyra and Newport schools, graduating from Newport High School, Class of 1946. She went to work for New England Telephone Company while still in high school, retiring in 1978. She has spent winters in Florida for the past 20 years.

Ruth is survived by her husband, Harold W. Condon; three children, Bill and wife Fawn Condon of Corinna; Carol and husband Larry Poulin of Oakland, and Evie and husband Dan Bowman of Newport; a brother, Dale and wife Hattie McAllister of Grosse Island, Michigan; 6 grandchildren; many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, and a brother, Carleton McAllister.

Friends may call from 5 to 7 P.M. Wednesday at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main Street, Newport, where funeral services will be held 2 PM Thursday, April 18th. Burial will be in Palmyra Village Cemetery.
