Ruth (Nichols) Marchelletta
ETNA – Ruth Marchelletta, 80, died July 27, 2012 at her family residence on West Etna Road. She was born December 8, 1931 in Leominster, MA, a daughter of George and Marie (LePage) Nichols. She graduated from Leominster High School.

Ruth had been employed at the Edward’s Company in Pittsfield and Guilford Industries in Newport. She was also the founder of Family Yarns of Etna, in which she worked for many years with her family. During her retirement years, she enjoyed operating her yard sale.

Ruth is survived by 4 sons, Michael and wife Sun-A, Joseph and wife Tris, Gary and wife Cassilena, and Antonio and Barbara, all of Etna; 2 brothers, Ernest LePage of San Diego, CA and George H. Nichols of Madison Heights, VA; 15 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
