SCOTT A. HILL Scott met Melissa Hussey in 1992. They became best friends and married Aug. 5, 1995. Scott was an extremely loving and generous husband and they were blessed with three beautiful and healthy children. Scott adored his wife and children and was a very "hands on" father who will live forever in the lives of his children. Scott was an avid outdoorsman. He was a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation and a lifetime member of the North American Hunting Club. Scott found peace in the outdoors and has passed the love of nature and sportsmanship on to his best "hunting buddies," Noah and Eli. We will fondly remember Scott's first successful turkey hunt this spring as well as many other outdoor adventures. Scott was a strong person who quietly celebrated nine years of sobriety in 2006. His wife and family were so proud of him for this personal success. Scott was a loyal and caring friend to many and would give of himself to others willingly and without thought of reciprocation. Scott loved his wife and children freely and completely. He will be forever in the heart of his wife, Melissa Anne Hussey Hill; and his children, Noah Robert, Eli Jacob and Annie Grace Hill. Scott will also be lovingly remembered by his parents of Corinth; a brother, Nick Hill and his wife, Penny, of Corinth; two sisters, Carol Purvis and her husband, Donnie, of Texas and Lisa McVicar and her husband, Rich, of New York; his grandmother, Evelyn Hill of Charleston; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Melanie Hussey of Milo; the Dunham family, many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; including a special cousin, Tim Hill; special friends, Rick and Julie Strout, Bobby, George and Dana Petersen and Mark Buswell, Bobby R.; and others. Scott was predeceased by his grandmother, Ottalee Blodgett. A celebration of Scott's life will be held 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, at the Bradford Baptist Church with the Rev. Donald Booker officiating. Cremation arrangements are by the Thompson Funeral Home, 17 Hudson Rd., Corinth. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Milo. Those who wish, may make donations in his memory to the Hill Children Fund, Maine Savings FCU, P.O. Box 447, Milo, ME 04463.
