Shirley L. Liggett She was a member of the Ripley United Methodist Church, a past member of the Wassokeag Chapter #42 Order of the Eastern Star and Lady Noble with the Anah Shrine. She is survived by her mother of Dexter; her husband of 40 years, Dale; 4 daughters and their husbands, Nolana and John McTeague of Dedham, Faylene and James Wilson of Dexter, Annette and Louis Babcock of Ellsworth, and Holly and Gerry Zellner of Knox, PA; 2 brothers and their wives, Ted and Faye Smart of Dover-Foxcroft and Jesse and Lynda Smart of Cambridge; 2 sisters and their husbands, Virginia and Fred Tyler of Cambridge and Gloria and Tony Poulin of Dexter; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. There will be no visiting hours. Graveside funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Monday, October 22nd, at the Ferndale Cemetery, Ripley, with Pastor Stephen Dean officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Oncology Clinic for gasoline cards, c/o Mayo Regional Hospital, 897 W. Main Street, Dover-Foxcroft, ME 04426.
