STANLEY C. GRAY
CORINNA - Stanley C. Gray, 68, died Oct. 3, 2002, at his residence after a short illness. He was born Feb. 23, 1934, in North Newport, the son of Donald and Mamie (Wentworth) Gray. He was a veteran of the Korean War and had been a resident of Corinna most of his life. He was a former employee of Guilford of Maine, retiring in 1999. Stanley loved hunting, fishing and camping.

Surviving are a son, Mark Gray and his wife, Carmelita of Sangerville; two daughters, Tammy Frisbie of Hollis and Bethany Gray of Napa, Calif.; an adopted son, Wesley Gray of Huntington Beach, Calif.; two stepchildren, Todd Holbrook of Mount Desert Island and Kristina Lancaster of New Hampshire; two brothers, Ronald Gray and his wife, Kay of Corinna, Clyde Gray and his wife, Theresa of Stetson; two sisters, Arlene Kinney of Dexter, Gloria Partridge and her husband, Norman of Corinna; six grandchildren, Samantha, Zachery, Megan, Nicole, Alexander, and Jacob; a great-grandaughter, Angel Rose. Stanley was predeceased by two brothers; Robert and William; a sister, Joyce Gould; and a step-grandson, Isaac Herring.

Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Monday, at the Thompson Funeral Home, 30 St. Albans Rd., Corinna. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2002 at the North Newport Church, with Rev. Kevin Smart officiating. Burial will be in the North Newport Cemetery.

Friends and relatives are invited to the family farm in North Newport for a pot luck luncheon and a time of fellowship and conversation after the service
