SYLVIA M. (CLUKEY) PAYNE
DEXTER – Sylvia M. Payne, 80, died November 28, 2005 at a Dexter health care facility. She was born December 19, 1924 at Dexter a daughter of Joseph and Annie Clukey. Sylvia was a communicant of St. Anne’s Church in Dexter. She was employed by the Dexter Shoe Company for 18 years.

She was predeceased by her husband, Harold C. Payne, who died November 10, 1999.

She is survived by 3 sons, Edward and wife Melody, Peter and wife Kathy and Andrew Payne, all of Dexter; 3 brothers, Galen and Nelson Clukey, both of Dexter, and Nazier Clukey of Sangerville; A sister, Winnifred Daigle of Dexter; 3 grandchildren.

Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at Crosby & Neal, 61 Main Street, Dexter, where a funeral service will be held 10 AM Thursday, December 1st, with the Rev. Fr. Paul Pare officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
