THEODORE E. ROBINSON After retiring from the military as MSgt (E-7), he was employed by GTE in Bangor until 1987. Ted was a life member, vice president and past commander of the Korean War Veterans Association; a life member and quartermaster of the VFW Post 11191 of Newport; a life member, service officer and past commander of the Corinna Post #73, American Legion; a past commander, 5th District, American Legion; a former member and trustee of AFSA Chapter # 152 of Bangor; a member and treasurer of the Charleston Air Force Base Reunion Committee; and a former member of the Retired Enlisted Association. Ted enjoyed fishing, boating and spending time at his camp on East Grand Lake. He was also an avid hunter. In addition to his wife of 52 years, he is survived by 5 loving children, Charlene Gauthier of Joplin, MO, Karen Robinson of Largo, FL, Vickie and her husband Lewis Easler of Dexter, Ted D. Robinson, and Brian Robinson, Sr., both of Exeter; 6 grandchildren, Diane, Denyse, Brad, Brian, Jr., Matthew, and Katie; 3 great grandchildren; a brother, John and wife Maxine of Corinth; 2 sisters, Louise Estabrook and Althea Casanova, both of Danforth; and special in-laws, Jimmy and Mary Ezzio, Teresa Robinson, Stanley “Ralph” and wife Carol Severance, Maureen and husband Roy Hawkins; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Kathy Lindh. He was predeceased by a brother Roland; 3 sisters, Isabel Ryan, Gloria Ezzio, and Nellie Morton; and special friend Carl Lindh. A time of visitation and recognition by the Legion will be held from noon to 2 PM Friday, July 7th at the Corinna American Legion Hall, with Norman Partridge, Chaplain, officiating. Following the service, a military committal service will be held at 3 PM at the Crowell (Cider Hill) Cemetery in Exeter. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal Chapel, Corinna.
