TIM SHELEP
GREENVILLE - Tim Shelep died peacefully on October 19 of pneumonia at EMMC.

He was born December 21, 1954 in Willard, Ohio, the son of Helga and Tom Shelep, both deceased.

He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Miami University with double degrees in Painting and Advertising, work for Leo Burnett in Chicago, where he created television and print ads for clients such as Maytag, Huffy Bicycles, United Airlines and Kellog Cereals. Always a painter, he moved to Greenville in 2001 to open an inn and pursue his art. He is featured in the November/December issue of "Up North" magazine. He also served on the Board of Directors of the Moosehead Lake Region Chamber of Commerce.

Tim is survived by a brother, David Shelep and a sister, Nancy Shelep of Palm Springs, CA and Rocky River, OH, as well as his partners, Dan Turek and John A. Cusick of the Pleasant Street Inn in Greenville.

Funeral arrangements were provided by Greenlawn Funeral Services in Bangor. His remains will be interred in the family plot in Dexter. A memorial service will be held for him in Greenville in the Spring.

He will be sorely missed.
