Todd Christian Roesing
Todd Christian RoesingMILO - Todd Christian Roesing, 17, died unexpectedly Jan. 26, 2005, in an automobile accident in Sebec. He was born June 26, 1987, in Dover-Foxcroft, the son of Christian H. and Wendy L. (Lyford) Roesing. Todd was a senior at Penquis Valley High School, where he was a member of the chorus and played trombone in the band. He played football with the Hudson Hornets, and had enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps, with a delayed entry following graduation.

Todd is survived by his mother and stepfather, Wendy and Rob Coburn of Milo; three brothers, Jonathan Coburn and Jacey Lyford of Milo, Robert Coburn of Camp Lejeune, N.C.; two sisters, Linda Coburn Pelton and her husband, Ben, of Brownville, Cheryl Roesing of Milo; a special nephew, Thomas Lyford of Milo; maternal grandparents, John and DeeDee Lyford of Milo; paternal grandmother, Pat Roesing of Charleston; maternal great-grandmother, Elnora Lyford of LaGrange; stepgrandparents, Whitney and Linda Coburn of Brownville; aunts and uncles, Steve Roesing and Lisa Winslow, and Donna and Joe Lubin, all of Cleveland, Ohio; and many cousins. He will be remembered by many, many friends, including a special friend, Johanna Kutz of LaGrange. Todd was predeceased by his father, Chris Roesing; and his paternal grandfather, Ronald Roesing.

Friends are invited to call from 2 p.m. until time of funeral service at 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 30, 2005, at Penquis Valley High School. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Todd C. Roesing Scholarship Fund, care of Maine Savings Credit Union, P.O. Box 447, Milo, ME 04463. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
