VIOLET MAE CARSON
DEXTER & LAFAYETTE, COLORADO - Violet Mae Carson passed away July 1, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born May 21, 1961 in Bangor, Maine. She lived her life as a free spirit. She made her home in Lafayette, Colorado near the Rocky Mountains that she loved. Her love of family and Maine brought her back home often to visit her dual families of Merrill and Mildred Carson and Robert and Jean Edgerly. She loved to explore Maine with her many sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews.

Violet’s sense of humor and smile are cherished by those who love her including a special friend Kathy Cox. Her family and her large circle of friends hold special memories of adventures with her through the Rocky Mountains to challenge their luck at the casino or to enjoy a great view. Violet enjoyed flowers and her garden. She found the opportunity to explore a career in landscaping among other endeavors. She loved exploring different opportunities. Her Dexter Regional High School classmates of 1980 may remember her love of music and her interest in photography. She loved her animals. The stray cats in her neighborhood always found a meal on her doorstep. Celebrations of her life will be held in two locations. One at her home in Lafayette, Colorado on July 11, 2006. The second will be held at her home in Dexter, Maine on July 29, 2006.
