OBITUARIES

VIVIENNE D. FANJOY
DEXTER and BROOKSVILLE, FL - Vivienne D. Fanjoy, 89, wife of the late Arnold "Diddy" Fanjoy, went home to be with the Lord, Jan. 25, 2004, in Brooksville, Fla. She was born Dec. 21, 1914, the daughter of Asa A. and Lydia (Miller) Carle. She attended Sangerville schools. She was employed at Dunbarton Woolen Mills, Dexter, and Guilford Industries in Guilford. She retired from Guilford Industries as a supervisor in the mending room on April 1, 1977, after 27 years of employment. Vivienne attended the First Free Baptist Church in Dexter. For many years she and her husband enjoyed their little farm on French's Mill Road. Vivienne had many memories of grandchildren and family gatherings at their cottage at Piper Pond.

She is survived by two sons, Wendall and wife, Sarah Easler, of Brooksville, Fla., and Hampden, Dale and wife, Jeannette Easler, of Dexter; two daughters, Elaine and husband, Jim McDaniel, of Brooksville, Fla., and Dexter, and Betty and husband, Gayland Bennett, of Dexter; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Mildred Bates of Dexter; one brother-in-law, John Irvin of Dexter; and two sisters-in-law, Margorie Carle of Fairfield, and Vonnie Patchel of Dexter and Arizona. She will be missed by several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Graveside services will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation in her memory can be sent to Hernando/Pasco Hospice, 698 South Broad St., Brooksville, FL 34601.
