WILLIAM C. EURICH William also enjoyed raising guinea pigs and was a professional breeder, writing a book, "The Commercial Cavy," explaining in detail breeding, feeding, housing and diseases of guinea pigs. After the war, William traveled to Columbia, where he met his lovely wife, Letty, and they raised six children together, Julie Ouellette of Rockwood, Karen Landstreet of Maryland, RoseMarie Borges of Virginia, Marie Cecila Hincapie of Columbia, Hilda Stade of Pittson and William Eurich III of Rockwood and Greenville. William was a member of the American Legion, the Masonic Lodge and Masonic Study Unit, a member of the Society of the 83rd Division and the American Philatelic Society. Surviving in addition to his children, are his loving wife, Letty Eurich of Rockwood; 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grand-children, and one nephew. Friends are invited to join the family 9-11 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Greenville, with services being held 11 a.m. with the Rev. Richard Malo, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the spring in the family lot in Rockwood. Arrangements by Greenlawn Funeral Directors, Bangor.
