OBITUARIES

WILLIAM L. HAMM
EXETER - William L. Hamm, Sr., 74, died February 21, 2007 at his home. He was born July 12, 1932 in Swanville, a son of Cyrus and Daisy (Arbuckle) Hamm. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War, and retired in 2005 from Wardwell Construction.

He is survived by his wife, Florence of Exeter; 4 children, William Hamm, Jr. of Crestview, FL, Katherine Jellison of Haynesville, Mary Johnson of Carmel, and Daisy Gallant and husband Mark of Newport; 2 brothers, Lloyd Hamm and Raymond Hamm; 5 sisters, Dorothy Dyer, Kathleen Smith, Jean Howard, Carlene Carrano, and Ethel Beverage; 2 grandchildren whom he raised, Terry Cook and wife Veronica of Searsport and Keri Ponte and husband Michael of Exeter; 9 other grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren.

Friends and family are invited to Keri Ponte’s home, 1005 Stetson Road, Exeter, from 3 to 7 P.M., Saturday, February 24th. Spring burial will be in Exeter Center Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to assist the family, in care of Keri.
