WILLIAM L. HASKELL
William L. Haskell GUILFORD, William L. Haskell, 78, died November 3, 2007, while hunting in Guilford. He was born December 2, 1928, in Waterville, son of Leonard and Vanessa (Bushey) Haskell. He was an avid outdoorsman for all of his life. Bill served in the U.S. Army and was proud of his 42 year career working for the Maine Central Railroad.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Marilyn (Brooker) Haskell of Guilford; a step daughter and her husband, Linda and Frank Gilbert of Sangerville; four grandchildren, Kristen and her husband, Dustin Lander of Guilford, Gus and his wife, Mandy Snowden of Abbot, Pam Gilbert of Reno, NV, and Peggy Gilbert of Guilford; two grandsons, Stephen Bowley of Guilford and Riley Snowden of Abbot; two sisters, Gloria Datsis, and Thelma Martin, both of Winslow; a brother, Herbert Haskell of Waterville; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; 2 sisters, Rosalie Dolley, and Priscilla Wentworth; 2 brothers, Chester Haskell, and Arthur Haskell; 2stepsons, Michael Knowles, and David W. Knowles.
